Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Application

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for language lessons concluded between Felix Bertram Werner Bürkle (hereinafter referred to as the "Provider") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as the "Student") via the website www.germanwithfelix.com.

 

2. Subject Matter & Services

  • The Provider offers language training services as online meetings.

  • Lessons take place via video conferencing tools like Google Meet.

  • One lesson unit typically lasts 60 minutes.

 

3. Conclusion of Contract

The contract is concluded when the Student books an individual lesson and the Provider confirms this booking via email.

 

4. Prices and Payment Terms

  • The prices specified in the booking tool at the time of booking shall apply.

  • VAT: In accordance with § 19 UStG regarding small businesses (Kleinunternehmerregelung), no VAT is charged or displayed.

  • Payment is made in arrears via invoice, which is issued at the end of the month.

 

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling by the Student

  • Scheduled appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time.

  • In the event of a cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointment or a no-show, the Provider reserves the right to charge for the lesson in part or in full.

 

6. Cancellation by the Provider

If the Provider must cancel a lesson for important reasons (e.g., illness, technical issues), the lesson will be rescheduled for a later date. No further claims for compensation shall exist.

 

7. Technical Requirements

The Student is responsible for ensuring the technical requirements for online instruction (stable internet connection, functioning microphone, and camera). Technical issues on the Student's side do not release the Student from the obligation to pay for the lesson.

 

8. Data Protection

Information regarding the processing of personal data can be found in the separate Privacy Policy on this website.

 

9. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. Should individual provisions of these T&Cs be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
